The latest from Nottingham Forest as the Red Devils take on the Bees in a Premier League clash at the City Ground.

Head coach Steve Cooper has named his Nottingham Forest team to face Brentford in this afternoon’s Premier League clash.

The Reds are back at the City Ground for their penultimate game before the next international break. And they will be eager to return to winning ways on the banks of the Trent.

Forest came away with plenty of positives from their trip to Manchester City last weekend but couldn’t claim a result as they fell 2-0 to the reigning champions. Prior to that they had come from behind to draw 1-1 with Burnley at home

Cooper had opted for a back three at the Etihad Stadium as he tweaked his formation. But he switches to a four-man defence in a 4-3-3 system today, with three changes made to his starting XI.

Summer signing Murillo makes his debut, while Callum Hudson-Odoi and Anthony Elanga also come into the XI. Ola Aina and Nuno Tavares are not included in the squad, with the latter having been forced off due to a groin problem last weekend, while Morgan Gibbs-White drops to the bench.

Ibrahim Sangare, Orel Mangala and Nicolas Dominguez keep their places in midfield. Hudson-Odoi and Elanga will support Taiwo Awoniyi in attack. Alongside Gibbs-White, Odysseas Vlachodimos, Joe Worrall, Cheikhou Kouyate, Chris Wood, Andrey Santos, Harry Toffolo, Divock Origi and Gonzalo Montiel will be on the bench.

Forest: Turner; Aurier, Boly, Murillo, Niakhate; Sangare, Mangala, Dominguez; Hudson-Odoi, Awoniyi, Elanga. Subs: Vlachodimos, Worrall, Kouyate, Gibbs-White, Wood, Santos, Toffolo, Origi, Montiel.
