Crystal Palace ‘shocked’ against Nottingham Forest after double.
Pundit Paul Merson believes Crystal Palace “could be in for a shock” against Nottingham Forest on Saturday (October 7).The Reds
travel to Selhurst Park for an evening game against Palace, who will be without key players Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze through injury. The double blow blasts the game wide open, Merson believes, as the hosts will not have enough to hurt Forest without them.
It gives Forest a chance to capitalise and pick up three points, which is what Merson has tipped Steve Cooper and his squad to achieve this weekend. He has predicted a 1-0 victory for the men in Garibaldi red.

This is going to be a good game. I think it could be one of those games that Nottingham Forest could capitalise on. You don’t know what you’re going to get with Palace at the moment, and Forest might be able to pick up a win here.”
Just three points and three places separate Forest and Palace in the Premier League table. Forest are 12th with eight points, while Palace sit ninth on 11 points.
