Regarding the Florida Gators, Gerald Chatman has been serving as their defensive line coach since December 2023. Chatman joined the Gators after a successful stint at Tulane, where he served as the defensive line coach during the 2023 season. Under his guidance, Tulane’s defense ranked eighth nationally in rush defense, allowing just 93.5 yards per game, and tied for 22nd in the country with 34 sacks.

Prior to his tenure at Tulane, Chatman had experience in the SEC as a defensive line analyst at LSU in 2021 and as the interim defensive line coach in 2023.
