Jalen Milroe Compares Himself to a Well-Known Backup Quarterback
As of my current knowledge, there is no record of Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe publicly comparing himself to any well-known backup quarterback. However, notable figures in the football community have drawn parallels between Milroe and other quarterbacks, both current and former.
In December 2023, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh commented on Milroe’s athleticism by comparing him to Michigan’s backup quarterback, Alex Orji. Harbaugh stated, “He’s like a real polished Alex Orji,” highlighting Milroe’s athletic skill set and playmaking ability. He further noted that this comparison was “a little scary,” given that Orji was considered the most athletic player on Michigan’s roster.
