Mark Orphey – Cornerbacks Coach: Mark Orphey joins the Longhorns as the new cornerbacks coach, bringing 14 years of coaching experience, including five seasons in the SEC. A Houston native and former Texas Southern standout, Orphey has a rich history in Texas football. He previously contributed to Rutgers’ defensive resurgence over the past three seasons and was part of Alabama’s staff during their 2021 SEC Championship run.

Chad Scott – Running Backs Coach: Chad Scott steps in as the running backs coach, succeeding Tashard Choice.
