Tyreek Hill, WR for the Miami Dolphins Thank You Washington Commanders for ‘Not Respecting Me’

After losing 45-15 in Week 13, the Miami Dolphins (9-3) wide receiver Tyreek Hill is just one more issue facing the Washington Commanders (4-9) these days.

However, the Dolphins star claims that the defense’s disdain for him allowed him to do as much damage as he did after giving up the majority of the 157 receiving yards and both of his first-half touchdowns.

When asked whether he was surprised by the Washington defense’s lack of safety support, Hill responded, “Those guys are great at what they do and they also get paid,” following the game. But eventually, it becomes like a man. You know, I just think it’s great, I dunno, man. Thank you, I suppose, for not treating me with respect.”

Although coach Ron Rivera won’t record another loss due to adding insult to injury, the issues with his defense that have existed all season came to light this past weekend.

Worse, it happened in a game that Hill never would have predicted to have such a significant impact on.

“I came into the stadium worried about how I feel man cause I didn’t practice throughout this whole week,” Hill stated. “So it was like one of those that I was worried about just how I was going to be able to perform because every team is good in the NFL.”

With a 78-yard pass from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, Hill scored the game’s first touchdown, outgaining rookie defensive back Quan Martin of Washington in the process.

After the game, Coach Rivera stated that although Martin was supposed to have deep assistance, it was absent when Hill caught the pass three plays into the game.

Even if Tagovailoa had decided not to go to him on that play, Miami running back De’Von Achane had gotten open and would have scored as well if the ball had gone to him, as Hill noted after the game.

It turns out that the Commanders were never really in a battle at all, even though we all knew going into it that they would be up against it.
