In the match against Crvena Zvezda, Pep Guardiola affirms Man City’s rotation plans and dismisses the motivation theory.

Despite the fact that Manchester City has already clinched the top spot in the Champions League with one game remaining, Pep Guardiola is adamant that the Blues’ motivation won’t be a problem this week.

There is nothing riding on either side of the final Group G match between City and Crvena Zvezda, which takes place in Serbia. As group winners, City will undoubtedly advance to the round of sixteen, while Red Star will take last place.

Guardiola will still be able to rotate and rest some players because of this, despite the fact that he will be missing four important players: Ederson, Jeremy Doku, Kevin De Bruyne, and Erling Haaland. In addition to rotating his team, the manager promised to give some fringe players who have had to wait patiently for their opportunity in recent weeks a chance.
