Tired of the road Dallas Cowboys are currently back atop the standings after the Eagles’ loss to the Seahawks.

Throughout the season, the Dallas Cowboys have prioritized themselves. Their main goals now are to recover from Sunday’s 31-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills and deal with their travel issues before playing the Miami Dolphins. However, Monday night’s 20-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles by the Seattle Seahawks gave the Cowboys a gift and a boost to their emotions. It returned the Cowboys (10-4) and Eagles (10-4) to a first-place tie atop the NFC East. A postseason berth has already been assured for both teams.

The Cowboys, with a better conference record than the Eagles and Detroit Lions (10-4), would be the second seed in the playoffs and the NFC East winners if the season ended today, behind the San Francisco 49ers (11-3). But a lot is still up in the air. Philadelphia would win the division and Dallas would drop to the No. 5 seed due to the strength of the victory tiebreaker if the Cowboys and Eagles win their final three games. Naturally, that won’t be confirmed until the end of the season, and those figures may vary.

The Cowboys have a tougher final three-game slate with Miami (10-4) on the road, Detroit (10-4) at home and the Washington Commanders (4-10) on the road to end the season. The reeling Eagles, who are riding a three-game losing streak, have two games against the New York Giants (5-9) and one against the Arizona Cardinals (3-11). With all four of their losses away from AT&T Stadium, the Cowboys need to get back to focusing on their own issues.
