Twitter Reactions of the Miami Heat Following Their Monday Loss Against the Minnesota Timberwolves
Fans of the Miami Heat were thrilled to see stars Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo back together on Monday night.
Unfortunately, the Heat’s defeat by the league-leading Minnesota Timberwolves marked the game’s disappointing conclusion. Miami had a great first half but eventually lost after blowing a second lead in the fourth quarter.
The commenter HeatCulture stated, “This team never learns.” “This team choked a 17 point lead even with Bam and Herro back.” You people are shameless. pathetic defeat.”
The third quarter of the previous season was when the Heat played their worst basketball. It’s the fourth quarter this year, which isn’t a good way to boost supporters who boast about how clutch their team is.
User Frank Lilly commented, “Butler played less than 5 minutes in the fourth [quarter].” “I’m sure there was some brilliant reason why he sat there as the game fell apart and the lead was lost, but it seems like a change in minutes or approach is required.
Many fans were thrilled about Herro and Adebayo’s return, as they combined for 47 points. The team was unable to stop Anthony Edwards of the Timberwolves, who finished with 32 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. In terms of offensive output, Karl-Anthony Towns trailed only Edwards, finishing with 18 points on 50% of his shots.
Following their victory, Minnesota fans did not waste any time in making fun of Jimmy Butler, given his history with both Towns and the Timberwolves.
With less than 25 seconds remaining, Butler attempted to tie the game with another poorly timed 3-pointer, further compounding the injury.
Wednesday night, the Heat take on the Orlando Magic (16-9).
