Youri Tielemans made his debut for Aston Villa against Newcastle after coming on a free transfer from Leicester City.

Youri Tielemans, a former Leicester City midfielder, has stated that his present situation at Aston Villa is “not pleasant” due to a lack of game time.

The Belgian international was one of the players who left the King Power Stadium on a free transfer this summer when his contract expired. A deal to Villa was confirmed early in the transfer window.

Tielemans, on the other hand, has yet to start a Premier League game since moving across the Midlands. His four league outings have all come off the bench in the second half.

He has only started one game for his new team, playing the whole 90-minute second leg of the Europa Conference League play-off against Hibernian. Villa had already won the first leg 5-0.
