The recent dominance of Cleveland over Cincinnati is at stake. Sunday
In the annals of history, the Cincinnati Bengals are ahead of Cleveland; however, since 2018, Cleveland has won both of their meetings. These two teams have played 11 times in the past five seasons, with Cleveland having an 8-2 record in those meetings. More specifically, since assuming control of the Browns, Kevin Stefanski has a 6-1 record against his intrastate rival.
For the past few seasons, it’s safe to say that the Browns have the Bengals beat. On Sunday, Cleveland will put its dominance on the line, and to be honest, the fan base could care less. The Browns are playing the Bengals in a meaningless game for the first time in a long time because they have already secured a postseason berth and the Bengals have been eliminated from contention.
The NFL season and the postseason map are unaffected by Sunday. The Bengals are on the outside looking in, while the Browns are assured of the fifth seed.
Regardless of that, these two franchises don’t like each other and both will be trying to end their regular seasons on a high note.
