Speculation that the team is “frustrated” with Calvin Ridley

In the future, Campbell’s significance cannot be emphasized. Despite a season marred by injuries, the cornerback’s talent is undeniable and he made less progress than in his second year.

In addition to having some excellent depth at cornerback, the 2024 NFL Draft is a great year for wide receiver and offensive tackle talent in the early rounds. These developments are encouraging for the Jacksonville Jaguars because those positions are reportedly the team’s top priorities. Calvin Ridley’s performance from the previous season left the Jaguars feeling let down and irritated. In addition to being underweight, Ridley missed a lot of assignments and did not provide the yards after the catch. According to those sources, the Jaguars prioritize drafting a big outside receiver on either Day 1 or Day 2 to replace Trevor Lawrence.

Not only did Harrison start every one of his 17 games as a rookie, but he did so in spite of suffering a shoulder injury during training camp. Harrison was selected by the Jaguars with the 27th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. After the season, he apparently had minor surgery on his shoulder.
