The third-year quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars met with Kay Adams of Up and Adams, from SuperBowl Radio Row, on Tuesday to talk about his injury-plagued 2023 season and what it means for the team going forward.

Lawrence then appeared on NFL Network’s “SuperBowl Live” with Patrick Claybon and Bucky Brooks later on Tuesday to talk about the 2023 season in more detail as well as any lessons he learned for the future.

Lawrence also talked about the possibility of Josh Allen signing a long-term deal to stay with the team, the possibility of him receiving or not receiving an offseason extension, and whether or not he would like Fortner to support Trevor or Will Levis in his next table tennis competition. I advise fans to watch the two interviews in their entirety above if they have 17 minutes to spare.

Lawrence may have had the most injury-plagued season of his brief career in 2023. Throughout 2023, Lawrence sustained four separate injuries that prevented him from practicing and from playing at his best. He first sustained a knee injury in week six, followed by an ankle injury in week thirteen, a concussion in week fifteen, and a shoulder injury in week sixteen that kept him out of the game and from practice. His 51-game streak of consecutive starts was broken by that, his first missed start in his career. These four games were likely among Lawrence’s worst of the entire season.
