With games on Monday (against the Boston College Eagles) and Friday (against the Duke Blue Devils), first-ever all-time games against new ACC members Cal and SMU, a trip to Ireland to play the Georgia Yellow Jackets, and non-conference games against Memphis Tigers, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Charleston Southern Buccaneers, and Florida Gators, the schedule is among the most intriguing that an FSU team has ever had.
“We are pleased to have finalized our schedule for 2024,” head coach Mike Norvell stated. “Three new teams have joined the conference, and the ACC’s new scheduling structure produces exciting new matchups that offer our fans exciting opponents at home and new travel destinations.” It is a unique experience for this team to begin the season with the first international game in program history because of our incredible history. Returning to a sold-out Doak Campbell Stadium for the home opener on Labor Day night will be an even more memorable occasion for both the team and the supporters. The schedule for this year gives us several chances to highlight our program’s ongoing ascent among the top in the country.
