K.J. Wright, a former linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks, begins his coaching career with the San Francisco 49ers.
Fans of the Seattle Seahawks were accustomed to seeing K.J. Wright contribute to team triumphs over the San Francisco 49ers for a long time.
Wright will now contribute to the Niners’ efforts to maintain their recent supremacy in both the NFC West division and their rivalry with the Seahawks.
Wright, a staple of the ‘Legion of Boom’ defence and the 2013 Seattle Seahawks squad that won the Super Bowl, revealed on his podcast ‘KJ All Day’ that he will be joining the 49ers coaching staff.
He was hired by the 49ers to serve as the defensive quality control coach and assistant linebackers coach.
“I am thoroughly excited, I am really really happy for this opportunity, I’m really, really happy for the Niners organisation believing in me, trusting me with their franchise,” Wright stated.
