NEWTON, New Jersey — All landlines, cell phones, and internet connections throughout Sussex County and the Town of Newton are experiencing service disruptions.
According to a report released by the Town of Newton, there is a 9-1-1 system outage throughout the whole state that “may affect your ability to report emergencies.”
“The emergency telecommunications state is attempting to fix the problem. For urgent police, fire, and emergency medical services, please contact 973-383-2525, the non-emergency number, according to Newton officials.
