JUST NOW: An Odd Weekend at Wembley, But A Beautiful Touch…
It has felt like the close season sans the occasionally mild weather in the absence of any Hatters activity.
I was able to see some football, though, from the EFL Leagues 1 and 2. I really liked watching Stockport County, the other Hatters, shut out MK Dons 5-0, and Soccer Saturday was fun because all the goals were displayed just after they were scored.
It just goes to show how much I enjoy football up north that I was a little let down to learn today that the highly anticipated Scottish League Cup Final, featuring Glasgow Rangers, was not a match between men and women.The friendly international between Brazil and England was one game I chose not to watch, though—why would I watch a game that would disrupt the previously stated show?
