Tommy Doyle has shared what he thinks is his best position after signing for Manchester City.

But when asked what his favorite role in midfield is, Doyle replied:
“I’ve always been a midfielder. When I was young, I was a midfielder. And when I got to about 15 years old, then at the city academy, they pushed me a little bit higher, around 8 and 10 years old, to learn those roles. I kind of fell between the two. In that sense, I’m lucky to understand all the roles in midfield, which obviously helps you in this game.
“I think holding (is my preference). When I can hold the ball and try to control the game, bring intensity but also bring calmness.
“I also think as a midfielder you can contribute a few assists and a few goals whenever you can, which is exciting.”
As a result, Doyle prefers to play as a midfielder, which is interesting because we have seen the likes of Mario Lemina and Joao Gomes play in midfield in recent times, both of whom have really impressed. statue.
