Done Deals: Confirmed transfers by PSL clubs in 2024/25 season…

As the 2024/25 season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) approaches, the confirmed transfers have started shaping the new landscape of the league. Several clubs have been busy strengthening their squads, with notable movements that could impact the upcoming season.

**Karachi Kings** have made significant moves by securing the services of experienced all-rounder Shadab Khan from Islamabad United. Khan’s versatility and leadership qualities are expected to bolster the Kings’ middle order and spin department. Additionally, Karachi has brought in explosive batsman Sohaib Maqsood from Multan Sultans, aiming to add depth to their batting lineup.

**Lahore Qalandars** have strengthened their pace attack with the acquisition of fast bowler Shaheen Afridi from Peshawar Zalmi. Afridi’s ability to swing the ball both ways and his knack for taking crucial wickets will be a valuable asset for the Qalandars. Lahore has also added veteran wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal, hoping his experience will provide stability at the top of the order.

**Peshawar Zalmi** have made a bold move by signing promising young talent Azam Khan from Quetta Gladiators. Khan’s aggressive batting style and potential for explosive innings could provide the fireworks Peshawar is looking for in the middle overs. They’ve also added veteran all-rounder James Faulkner to provide balance and depth to their squad.

**Multan Sultans** have focused on strengthening their spin options with the acquisition of Afghan spinner Rashid Khan from Karachi Kings. Rashid’s renowned leg-spin and ability to control the middle overs will be crucial for Multan. Additionally, they’ve signed top-order batsman Babar Azam from Lahore Qalandars, aiming to enhance their top-order performance.

These strategic transfers reflect each team’s intent to refine their strengths and address their weaknesses, setting the stage for an exciting PSL season ahead.
