Following a  complicated  deadline day exit Leeds manager Daniel Farke announces Sinsterra s dismissal.

Daniel Farke, the manager of Leeds United, lauded Luis Sinisterra’s talent and said the team tried to keep him before his “complicated” deadline-day transfer to Bournemouth.

After Leeds’ 0-0 draw with Sheffield Wednesday on September 2, Farke was questioned about his opinion on the player’s departure, which he acknowledged the team would have to accept.

Farke described Sinisterra’s contract position as “complicated” because the winger apparently had a loan release option once Leeds was demoted from the Championship, allowing the Premier League team to rush in and sign him.

Farke said: “I’m always open,” as quoted by Phil Hay on Twitter, following the tie withW Sheffield ednesday. Since my arrival, I have applauded Luis for the player that he is. No one would believe me if I said that I was relieved that he was away.

‘We tried. He had a complex contractual situation. We have to acknowledge that he made this choice.

Leeds United Could Have Landed Replacement For Bournemouth Bound Luis Sinisterra

With the loan transfer of winger Jaidon Anthony in the opposite direction, Sinisterra joined Premier League team Bournemouth for the entire season. There will have been some solace from his arrival at Elland Road as a makeweight in the deal, but it will be challenging to replace the Colombian.

Leeds eventually had to accept the truth that they would be losing one of their best players right at the end of the transfer window, despite aspirations of hanging on, due to his contract predicament and interest from Premier League teams.

Gameweek 31 Differentials: Luis Sinisterra

The club was successful in keeping hold of Wilfried Gnonto, Crysencio Summerville, and Sinisterra as well. The crucial difference, however, was the contract situation, which they had been battling to resolve all summer. In the 0-0 draw with Sheffield Wednesday, there is no doubt that Sinisterra could have offered something different to the options that were out on the pitch. This is the harsh reality Leeds and Farke will have to deal with this season. They cannot afford to dwell on the past but must deal with these issues themselves.
