EUGENE — Offensive lineman Matthew Bedford was absent from Oregon’s practice on Wednesday, making it clear his return is highly unlikely this week.
Bedford, who was limping during the early portion of Tuesday’s practice, was not on the field with the Ducks Wednesday morning at the Hatfield-Dowlin Complex.
While not surprising given how severe a limp Bedford had, his absence underscores the latest setback following a preseason knee injury is going to likely going to keep him out for an extended time.
