Good news for Brighton as the player trains with the first team – Returns from injury
According to Meczyki.pl, Brighton & Hove Albion’s Jakub Moder is preparing to return to the field after a long absence.
The midfielder’s most recent outing was against Norwich City in April 2022, where he suffered a serious knee injury, requiring surgery. He faced complications during his recovery, which required him to undergo a second surgery.
Moder has been training privately and it is explained that the 24-year-old’s situation has improved, which is a boost for Roberto De Zerbi and the Seagulls.
Meczyki.pl say the 24-year-old is currently “training at full capacity” with the first team and it is “great news” for Brighton, with the Poland international’s return now looking “more realistic” ” after previous failures.
The newspaper said Moder’s return is “getting closer” but did not mention when he might be available.
Brighton have a busy fixture schedule after this month’s international break and Moder’s recovery will no doubt please them, but they will know they have to take it slow.

The season has only just begun and Brighton’s Simon Adingra is already showing excellent football in the Premier League. Reports from Football Insider suggest he is wanted by one of six big clubs.
The 2023/24 season has started well for Brighton & Hove Albion. Even though they lost key players in the summer, such as Alexis MacAllister, Moises Caicedo and Rebert Sánchez, Roberto De Zerbi still managed to build an even better team for bigger challenges like the Europa League.
Brighton are recognized as a selling club, not least because De Zerbi has done such a good job nurturing young talent. One of the revelations of this season is Simon Adingra, a Seagulls player from 2022 but who spent last season on loan at Union Saint-Gilloise. With his best performances coming in wins over Luton Town and Man United, the winger is now a target for a big-6 club famous for his links with Brighton – especially during the transfer window recently.
Chelsea has young Brighton player on their radar for the next transfer window
Chelsea’s talent scouts were spotted in the 3-1 win over Man United, where Adingra scored his second goal this season, and in the 1-6 loss to Aston Villa.
The London team is considering a number of options for the transfer window, especially due to a poor start, with 3 losses, 2 draws and only 1 win after 5 matches in the Premier League. Although Nicolas Jackson’s start is not bad, Pochettino needs other options.
We must also take into account that the African winger is only 21 years old and the London team has specifically targeted players under 25 years old. Since Todd Boehly’s group took over management of the club, they have prioritized recruiting young players and signing long-term contracts.
Although Adingra spent his first season on loan, he scored 15 goals and recorded 15 assists in a total of 51 appearances at Union Saint-Gilloise. But De Zerbi also showed that he has faith in the winger’s talent when he started in the opening match of the season against Luton Town and scored his first goal.
