SAD NEWS: A year after the show, the Married at First Sight pair shares a heartbreaking statement announcing their shocking breakup……

Only a year after being paired on Married at First Sight, a couple has abruptly declared their separation. They were the only pair from the series remaining together—until now—because they were the final couple standing.

“I am announcing with a heavy heart that Paul and I have decided to part ways,” the 26-year-old said in the statement. We have just accepted the truth that we are not a good fit, and there isn’t a compelling explanation.

“Paul is the sweetest man I’ve ever encountered, and I’m happy that we can be friends. I’m thankful for the time we’ve spent together. Even though I’m devastated that I must write this post, it’s best for us both.

“Thank you to everyone who has supported us as a couple,” she said in closing. I’m hoping you can now help us on our own paths.

Paul posted the same message on his own social media accounts. Couples including Ella Morgan and Nathanial Valentino, Jay Howard and Luke Worley, and Shona Manderson and Brad Skelly were all included in the 2023 season.

Since Paul and Tasha were the final pair left, none of the couples from that series are still wed to their spouses.

“Better than ever,” Tasha said on the May BAFTA red carpet. The only remaining pair is us. I would say they are reigning champs.

Since the marriage ceremony on the show was not legally binding, the pair also stated that they wanted to have a legitimate one.

“The chemistry is still there,” Tasha stated. Just saying, but, I’m waiting for a genuine ring. We want a big wedding, big diamond. That is what I require.
