Analyzing Terry McLaurin’s uneven performance against Miami
Terry McLaurin, a receiver for Washington, has had an unusual season. Throughout the season, he has experienced frustration on a few occasions; this was especially evident following road games against the New York Giants and home games against the Miami Dolphins. Coming off a game in which he recorded three targets and zero receptions, McLaurin is not a player you would have predicted to be on the field at this point in his career.
The Miami Dolphins defense was disciplined throughout the day and had very few execution problems against Eric Bieniemy and his offense, which is why the discussion of how this could happen needs to be nuanced. As is typical with Washington, there are multiple layers to what Washington was accountable for.
