Running back Qadree Ollison was released by the Steelers on Monday, and linebacker Davis Perales was added to the practice squad.
After the 2023 NFL Draft, Perales signed as an undrafted free agent. He was added to the practice squad at the beginning of the regular season but was cut at the end of October.
With 22.5 sacks at the end of his career at Fresno State, Perales ranks sixth in school history. Finished 2022 with a career-high 11.5 sacks and 16 tackles for a loss, he started 13 of 14 games. Perales had five passes defensed, one interception, and two forced fumbles. In terms of sacks, he was seventh in the FBS.
