Falcons vs. Panthers: Schedule, Betting Information

With 6-7 records, the Falcons, Tampa Bay, and New Orleans are all atop the South standings. However, Atlanta’s remaining schedule is the easiest of the three; they begin this weekend with the Carolina Panthers, who are in the cellar.

Today at Bank of America Stadium, the Atlanta Falcons will play their first game back at home against the Carolina Panthers. Along with a few other NFC teams, the Falcons are battling to make the playoffs. With four games remaining in the regular season, Atlanta is in a three-way tie for first place in the NFC South. Desmond Ridder, the quarterback for the Falcons, said, “Obviously for everyone to kind of be right there in that bunch, we know that we have everything in front of us.” “However, it makes no difference what another team does or what happens the following week or the next two weeks. What matters is what we accomplish and what we can accomplish on Sunday.

Carolina has had a very difficult season, despite the addition of Bryce Young, the first overall pick. The Panthers have scored fewer than 20 points in each of their last seven games and are ranked in the lower half of nearly every significant offensive statistical category. Young has also had difficulty and has not yet recorded a passing game of 250 yards. All of us talk about and practice having a growth mindset, according to Young. We are excited to go out there and improve because there is clearly a lot of room for improvement. Ridder is back in the starting lineup and has nine touchdowns to nine interceptions after starting the first eight games of the season and then being benched.
