The Baltimore Ravens have one of the best coaching staffs in the league, as head coach John Harbaugh is aware. Regretfully, the opposing teams are aware of this as well and are attempting to acquire the coordinators and coaches from the Ravens during the offseason.
Harbaugh was questioned about the fact that interviews for alternative coaching roles have been requested for a few of his coaches. “I think we have the best coaching staff in the world,” he retorted, echoing what he had said numerous times.
He continued, “So, I think that any opportunities that they get, I support and I’m excited for them.” Ravens supporters, however, might disagree because losing this coaching staff could have negative effects.
Todd Monken, the offensive coordinator, and defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald are the two main targets. Not surprising, given the Ravens’ elite offense and defense, that both coordinators would be sought after.
“I think we have a bunch of coaches that are going to be coordinators and head coaches,” Harbaugh said, expressing his high level of confidence in his staff. They will have great success for a very long time.
After the final day of the regular season, when other coaches are typically let go, the coaching carousel gets hotter. Consequently, Macdonald’s name has been linked to several teams as a potential target.
