2024: Cincinnati Bengals Are Probably Getting a New Offensive Coordinator

Despite a dismal 2023 campaign, the coaching staff of the Cincinnati Bengals has gained widespread respect throughout the league. Cincinnati, which has been lacking in originality, is expected to lose defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo and offensive coordinator Brian Callahan to head coaching positions this offseason. Thus, Cincinnati needs to know what will happen to each of those positions.

Although Zac Taylor, the head coach of Cincinnati, has stated that he anticipates having his entire coaching staff back for the upcoming season, it has already been made public that Callahan has conducted interviews for several head coaching positions, including those with the Oakland Raiders and the Los Angeles Chargers. Determining the most likely candidates to succeed Callahan as the head of the Cincinnati offense therefore becomes crucial.

Despite my intense love for Cincinnati, I detest the way the Brown family conducts business. Usually, the ownership group prioritizes familiarity over skill when hiring, giving preference to friends and family. As a result, I strongly believe that a member of the Cincinnati coaching staff will be the next offensive coordinator.

Dan Pitcher, the quarterbacks coach, will probably become Cincinnati’s next offensive coordinator with loyalty as his top priority. Pitcher was one of the few coaches to survive the firing of former

Cincinnati Bengals Likely New Offensive Coordinator In 2024 Head Coach Marvin Lewis, a clear sign of his ingratiation into the Brown family. Pitcher’s greatest achievement has been turning current starting quarterback Joe Burrow into one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, even though he performed admirably in maximizing the talent of former starting quarterback Andy Dalton.
