On Friday, Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan will have a head coaching interview with the Titans. Callahan is anticipated to participate in at least four interviews, this being the first.
In addition, the Chargers, Panthers, and Falcons have all asked to interview him for their head coaching positions.
Callahan is scheduled to interview with the Chargers on Tuesday.
At least 25% of the NFL will have a new head coach for the upcoming season because there are currently eight open head coaching positions.
Although Callahan has previously been interviewed for head coaching positions, the Bengals want to keep him on staff. This could be the year he takes on that role. Callahan could definitely get one of these positions, even with players like Mike Vrabel, Pete Carroll, Bill Belichick, Jim Harbaugh, and others available.
