Star Michigan player and winner of the national championship declares for the 2024 NFL Draft
The Michigan Wolverines lost two of their best players in the 2024 NFL Draft class: Junior Colson and Zak Zinter. Both players are expected to select early in the draft. Other offensive weapons were also lost to the transfer portal. It appears that one more high-profile player is on Michigan’s exit list.

However, he and those around him seem to think he is prepared for the next step to the professional level, as evidenced by his decision to join the NFL, where he is regarded as a possible first round pick.

Kris Jenkins, a standout defensive lineman for Michigan, announced his decision to enter the NFL draft to ESPN. Jenkins is projected as a Top 50 pick and is Mel Kiper Jr.’s fifth-choice defensive tackle in this draft.
