Boston Loses To The Golden Knights In A Tight OT Decision

The Boston Bruins, who have a recent history of losing close games, were defeated by the Vegas Golden Knights, 2-1, in overtime at T-Mobile Arena on Thursday.

The Golden Knights improved to 24-13-5, while the Bruins, who have lost four of their last five games, now have a 24-8-9 record.

The fact that the Bruins have lost three straight games will not sit well with them. However, they have a point in each of those three competitions, which gives them some comfort.

That did not appear to be the case against the Golden Knights, who took the lead on a man advantage in the third period after Danton Heinen’s penalty.

The Bruins, who are missing Brandon Carlo, Matthew Poitras, and Linus Ullmark due to injuries, demonstrated resilience by fighting back. However, the Golden Knights lost the game just 46 seconds into overtime due to a mistake that cost them early in the extra session.

In overtime, Alex Pietrangelo sealed a two-on-one to give the Golden Knights the victory. Mark Stone assisted on the game-winning goal.
