For the Canadian Geoff Cantin-Arku, the real work is about to begin.

In Nashville, Tennessee, the 25-year-old native of Levis, Quebec, is getting ready for the Memphis Tigers’ pro day in late March or early April. Cantin-Arku will use that audition as a crucial practice for the April 25–27, 2024 NFL draft.

“That’s all it’s about,” Cantin-Arku, who commanded attention, said. It’s about ensuring that on pro day, I’m in top physical condition and prepared to (ball) out.

The six-foot-four, 235-pound linebacker had one more year left at Memphis. But after spending five seasons at two American universities—Memphis and Syracuse—Cantin-Arku feels prepared to pursue his long-held goal of playing in the NFL.

“We know we have a long road ahead but we know it’s going to be a successful one,” he stated.

“I’m incredibly grateful for the chance to perform for these two fantastic shows.

Cantin-Arku was a vital member of the Memphis team that defeated Iowa State 36–26 in the Liberty Bowl on December 29 to end a 10–3 campaign. After 20 attempts, the Tigers prevented the Cyclones from gaining any rushing yards, and Cantin-Arku recorded seven tackles (two for loss and five solo).
