Top three plays; Knicks add Buddy Hield and Bojan Bogdanovic fill a significant void in Philly
The NBA trade deadline for 2024 has gone. Every transaction made can be followed up on here. Who were the major victors and defeaters? Colin Ward-Henninger is on top of things. Additionally, Sam Quinn has grades for every NBA team. I’m going to list my top three purchases from Thursday.
Notably, trades made before Thursday are not included in this. Although they are all excellent trades, James Harden to the Clippers, OG Anunoby to the Knicks, and Pascal Siakam to the Pacers are not relevant to this discussion.
Leon Rose is enjoying a winning streak of sorts. Since he signed Jalen Brunson to what may be the highest-paying contract in basketball, he hasn’t missed. The Knicks have done well to add a stable of players who are straight out of Tom Thibodeau’s preferred mould of two-way toughness. The team has resisted making the all-in move since flirting pretty heavily with Donovan Mitchell.
