Words of gratitude from Bam Adebayo after starting in the NBA All-Star Game in lieu of Joel Embiid

Big man Bam Adebayo of the Miami Heat, who is starting for the Eastern Conference in place of Joel Embiid, expressed his gratitude for being selected as an All-Star Game starter this season.

Due to a knee injury, the Philadelphia 76ers star will not be playing in the All-Star Game. Since Dwyane Wade in 2016, Adebayo will be the first member of the Heat to start an All-Star game.

The Heat center player, Adebayo, was selected for his third All-Star team this season after posting some of his best performance to date in the 2023–24 campaign.

Adebayo, a four-time All-Defensive team member, averages 20.2 points per game, which is his second-highest point total in his career, 10.6 rebounds, a career-high, 4.2 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.0 block. Additionally, he is shooting 51.0 percent from the field.
