England is keeping an eye on one Crystal Palace player as they seek for quality for the present and the future.

Crystal Palace has a number of quality players, and three of them are in the England squad during the current international break.

According to The Telegraph, Michael Olise is one of the players being scouted by Gareth Southgate and the rest of the England staff.

According to the article, Olise is ‘among those assessed’ for the England squad. The winger ‘has been firmly on Southgate’s radar,’ according to the report. The one difficulty is that Olise has chosen France and is now playing for the France U21 team. For the time being, England will continue to keep an eye on him.

If England can sign the ‘terrific’ winger, it will be a great coup and will make England’s future even brighter than it is now.

The only thing this current England side lacks is a trophy. They have come so close and must ensure that they do not lose momentum, which requires a plethora of new prospects to replace the ageing guard.

It is no shock to see Southgate scout Olise as the winger is massively talented. Last season, he managed 11 assists in the Premier League and this was the fourth-most in the division.

With the player also still only 21 years-old, his potential is high and his creativity is something that would be great in the England squad.

The only problem is that, for the time being, Olise is side with France. A definitive decision will not be made until Olise competes for one country at the senior level.
