During his eleven-year tenure in Baltimore, Flacco had several memorable moments, most notably in 2012 when he led the franchise to its most recent Super Bowl victory and embarked on an incredible playoff run. After serving as the starting quarterback for the Ravens, Flacco had taken a bit of a journeyman role. But last year, just when many were starting to believe that Flacco was done for good, he came back from the verge of retirement to help the Browns make it to the postseason.

Flacco won some hardware and was awarded the NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year while leading Cleveland to the postseason. In just six games, he accounted for 14 touchdowns through the air. According to NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the veteran has agreed to a deal for up to $8.7 million with $4.5 million guaranteed. He will now take his skills to Indianapolis. Moving ahead, Flacco is back where he is comfortable. The most ridiculously athletic quarterback to enter the game since Lamar Jackson was a rookie near the conclusion of his time in Baltimore will be in the quarterback room with him.

Anthony Richardson, the quarterback for the Colts, is a natural, but following an injury-plagued rookie season and few games played while a Florida Gator, Indy’s quarterback of the future will probably look to Flacco for veteran leadership to help hasten his learning curve when he returns from injury in the upcoming campaign. Regarding the Ravens, the switch from Flacco to Jackson has gone well, as Jackson has emerged as the team’s MVP twice. Jackson will try to catch up to Flacco the following season by leading the franchise to its first Super Bowl since he joined free agency with Derrick Henry.
