Nate Oats was not impressed with the inconsistency among college basketball referees during Sunday’s March Madness game between Alabama and Grand Canyon. Shortly after being flagged for a technical foul, he made that very obvious on live television.
TBS aired an open interview following the broadcast’s return from commercial.During the play stoppage, Lauren Shehadi conversed with Oats. After making two free throws, the Lopes were going to get the ball because of the technical foul. The head coach of the Crimson Tide was not happy with what transpired.
Early on, Oats began to bark at the officiating crew. The reason he was upset was that his team’s calls were handled differently than Grand Canyon’s.
Shortly after the report, a warning was released. The officials warned him that they would T him up if he persisted in using his tone. Oats persisted in his tone, leading them to T him. That’s what occurs when someone disregards a warning. Oats has undoubtedly put in more effort in the past to get a technical foul, though. a number of times.
Like he did with Shehadi, he is someone who will always voice his opinions.
