A star player for the Spurs is receiving stem cell therapy to heal a recurrent injury.
Emerson Royal is receiving therapy using stem cells.
Although he has been able to play and train frequently, the injury has never fully healed, therefore the defender is now looking for a different course of action.
According to the site, examinations have revealed that the right-back has had calcification, which is impeding the healing process. The right-back is reportedly experiencing pain “again.”
Emerson’s bone marrow was thus used to harvest stem cells, which are currently being utilised to aid in the complete regeneration of his cartilage, muscles, and bones.
The Tottenham player acknowledged to the newspaper that he is no longer in pain and that the treatment is already having a significant effect.
Regarding the injuries, Emerson is cited as saying, “It hurt a lot, I had no strength, and I couldn’t take a step.” I stopped feeling discomfort a few days after the treatment, and when we applied the second treatment to strengthen the tendon, I was still pain-free.
“There is no chance of rejection when using the patient’s own cells, and the lesions can be deflated, healed, and regenerate in up to 70% less time than before. With the appropriate method, a lesion with a 30-day healing period can be healed in as little as ten days.
The Tottenham player’s physician, Dr. Luiz Felipe Carvalho, stated of the operation: “The procedure has a 100% success rate.”
Most Spurs fans won’t be aware that Emerson has been playing with pain for the past year. Sometimes, fans are quick to blame players without considering the reasons for their decline in performance; Son Heung-min and Eric Dier experienced this similar thing last season.
