According to Ben Diner, Jack Harrison has a 25% chance of playing in his Everton debut this week.
The injury specialist shared the first-team news on his Premier Injuries website ahead of the EFL Cup [September 27] match against Aston Villa on Wednesday.
Harrison arrived on a season-long loan from Leeds United on August 14, but is yet to feature for the Toffees due to a hip injury.
Harrison recently returned to training and accelerated his recovery by playing 45 minutes for Everton U21s in their Premier League 2 match against Norwich City last Friday [September 22].
Dele Alli, Seamus Coleman and Andre Gomes are the other players currently playing for Everton, who also have a Premier League match against Luton Town on Saturday [September 30].
Sean Dyche will certainly want to get Harrison on the field as soon as possible, but the last thing he needs is for the 26-year-old to aggravate his injury.
The recent signs are certainly positive as the winger appears to have recovered from the U21 match unscathed.
Matches against Aston Villa and Luton now offer the opportunity for the Leeds loanee to at least be in the matchday squad, with a view to making his debut from the bench.
Everton, in contrast, have a home game against Bournemouth on October 7, before the second international break of the season.
While the Toffees may have finally turned to attack in their 3-1 win over Brentford at the weekend, Harrison’s return from injury will be a welcome boost for Dyche
.
In other Everton news, details have been revealed about the £45m boost given to the Toffees to help them cover the costs of building a new stadium.

Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said:
“Konsa does everything that is expected of him. It goes a little unnoticed, it’s really solid.
“I’m shocked he hasn’t been recalled to England because he’s such a talent. He’s just been flying under the radar. Obviously we’ve got a lot of depth in those positions now so there’s Maybe there will be times when he won’t play.
“But Villa showed his importance by signing him on a long-term contract, which is fantastic for us. That certainlkes seens.
