  • Wolves face Ipswich Town in the third round of the Carabao Cup tonight, Gary O’Neil is looking for a win to lift his spirits.

Wanderers have struggled in the Premier League so far, picking up just four points from their opening six matches.

There was some bad luck along the way.

But fans are starting to worry a little.

Ideally, Wolves will put in a truly encouraging performance tonight against the champions.

  • Ipswich have made an excellent start to the season and are currently ranked 2nd in England’s second division, level on points with leaders Leicester City. Tractor Boys is also currently the team scoring the most goals in the tournament with 17 points.

This could be a tough match but Wolves fans are eagerly waiting.

This is XI O’Neil can go to Portman Road with…

  • Wolves XI will face Ipswich in the third round of the Carabao Cup
Dan Bentley can participate in this match after appearing in the most recent round against Blackpool.

It’s very possible that O’Neil could change the entire defense. And maybe even the whole team.

Max Kilman and Craig Dawson both needed rest against Manchester City, so we could see a combination between Toti Gomes and new signing Santiago Bueno.

  • Jonny Castro Otto and Matt Doherty could replace Rayan Ait-Nouri and Nelson Semedo.

In midfield, it is likely that Tommy Doyle will have his first starting position since arriving on loan from Manchester City.

He’s made a few appearances so far and it’s great to see this talented youngster.

Next to him could be Boubacar Traoré, who started the match against Blackpool.

Pablo Sarabia will definitely start after shining against Blackpool in the last round and not playing much in the Premier League. He can play from the right, and it would be great if Enso Gonzalez gets his first chance on the left.

The Paraguayan star has been in good form since his arrival and this could be a good opportunity for him to show O’Neil what he can do.

Up top, we will most likely see Fabio Silva and Sasa Kalajdzic team up again.

  • Neither played against Luton, so you can imagine both will get minutes tonight.

As a result, the squad will change at Luton, with Bueno and Gonzalez set to make their debuts.

With Man City next in the Premier League, there are sure to be big changes to the competition.

    Wolves (4-4-2):
