Chris Sutton thinks Unai Emery won’t do that when making his Aston Villa vs Brighton prediction

The latest Aston Villa news from BirminghamLive includes Chris Sutton’s predictions ahead of Brighton’s trip to Villa Park

Aston Villa will be looking to make it three wins from three when they host Brighton at Villa Park on Saturday (12:12).
30h).

Unai Emery’s side claimed a big win at Stamford Bridge after beating Chelsea 1-0 after coming back to claim all three points against Crystal Palace. As for the Seagulls, they are unbeaten in their last 3 matches in the national championship after victories against Newcastle, Manchester United and Bournemouth.

A promising campaign from Roberto De Zerbi’s side has seen them lose just once in the league, finishing third on 15 points. Giving his predictions to BBC Sport before the match, Chris Sutton admitted that the quality of the teams was not much different.

Brighton coach Roberto De Zerbi gives suggestions for selection against Aston Villa

He completed a double against the Seagulls last season, and I remember their fight when I saw them win at the Amex Stadium shortly after he took charge. It will be interesting to see how Villa go this time, but we know what usually happens when teams actually go to Brighton and I don’t see Emery doing that.

“I still think there will be a goal because I expect Brighton to take their chances, but Villa are a balanced team and they will get something here.”

Sutton’s prediction:
Aston Villa 2-2 Brighton.
