Given the way he has settled in, it would make sense for Forest to get him tied down for longer as soon as they can. He arrived as a free agent and already looks like being a terrific bit of business.

Goalkeeper Ethan Horvath was left out of Forest’s 25-man Premier League squad following the closure of the summer window. Having spent last term on loan at Luton Town, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if he ends up moving on at some point in the coming months.
Wayne Hennessey penned a two-year deal when he made the move to the City Ground in the summer of 2022. He was second-choice stopper last term, but with Matt Turner and Odysseas Vlachodimos having come in may find himself pushed down the pecking order. The experience he brings is valuable and he remains an important member of the dressing room, but it is too early to say whether the Reds will reassess their goalkeeping options at the end of the season
