Week 15 loss to Colts was disappointing, and the Pittsburgh Steelers are mostly to blame.

The Steelers in Pittsburgh are in disarray. After a heartbreaking loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 15, the team has now dropped three straight games. It didn’t seem like the score was close at all as the Colts defeated the Steelers 30–13. The Steelers must examine their situation deeply and act swiftly to make changes. These three individuals bear the greatest responsibility for the team’s disappointing defeat, although the team itself is ultimately to blame.

In the first half, the Steelers set up themselves for victory. At halftime, the team was behind the Colts, 14–13. In contrast, the Steelers failed to score any points in the second half of the game. The quarterback is responsible for assisting the team in moving the ball. As the team’s current leader, Mitchell Trubisky has just not been able to complete the task at hand. At the end of the game, Trubisky threw for 169 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Simply put, that is a poor stat line.

Near the end of the game, Mason Rudolph replaced Trubisky as the Steelers’ starting quarterback. Nor did he fare too well. Ben Roethlisberger, a dependable gunslinger who can stand in the pocket and make the necessary throws or run hard for a few extra yards and earn a first down, is simply not present on the Steelers. Trubisky needs to control this offense and make accurate throws if he wants to remain this team’s play caller.

Najee Harris is having difficulty gaining yards at the moment. After 12 carries, the Steelers’ running back finished with 33 yards. In the team’s last three losses, he has not gained more than 63 yards in a single game through the rush. Despite participating in all 14 games this season, Harris has also not yet reached 100 yards in a running performance. In actuality, he’s not making the proper cuts or identifying the proper holes.

Not only are the numbers unpalatable, but Harris also committed a crucial error during the Colts game. On the team’s opening drive of the second half, he mishandled the ball. As previously stated, the Steelers were attempting to regain momentum as the Colts led by one point.
